Simon Erskine Locke is a corporate and financial communications leader, communications technology expert and entrepreneur. \u00a0He founded Islay Communications in 2013 as a communications consulting and technology company.<\/p>\n

During 2015 he developed the town-resident “Townhub” engagement platform adopted by towns in the Hudson Valley, and a customized version for Associations, adopted by the Retirement Income Industry Association\u00ae (RIIA\u00ae). \u00a0\u00a0In addition to developing the technology platforms, he develops and oversees the content creation and management for the sites.<\/p>\n

In 2016 he launched CommunicationsMatch<\/a>™ a ground-breaking communications and marketing agency, consultant and freelancer search and hiring platform.<\/p>\n

Locke was a co-founder of CLP & Partners, a strategic Communications Consultancy, where he advised financial services companies and organizations on communications strategy, worked on product and fund launches and developed content creation strategies.<\/p>\n

Prior to that\u00a0he was Head of U.S. Businesses Communications at Prudential Financial, Inc.<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0At Prudential, he managed communications around a number of major transactions, acquisitions, dispositions and crises. and developed and built on significant communications initiatives, including market outlook briefings, white paper promotion, social media and research on diverse markets.<\/p>\n

Before joining Prudential, he was Morgan Stanley\u2019s Head of Communications in Japan.\u00a0 At Morgan Stanley, he managed external, internal and marketing communications, events and advertising, and oversaw the development of the Japan Intranet that became a model for the company\u2019s Intranets around the world.<\/p>\n

Locke previously worked for Deutsche Bank Group<\/a> in New York, Singapore and Tokyo, where he held roles including Head of Asia Pacific Communications and Head of Communications, Japan.<\/p>\n

At Deutsche Bank he started a U.K.-based internet company 800 Hampers where he was non-executive Chairman.<\/p>\n

He joined Deutsche Bank from <\/i>Ogilvy, Adams & Rinehart<\/a> Public Relations.<\/p>\n

Locke is a member of the board of the Foreign Press Association and previously served on the American-Scottish Foundation board.\u00a0 He was a co-founder of the Financial Institutions in Tokyo (FIT) for Charity run to raise funds for under-served philanthropic institutions.\u00a0 He also founded The Before the Snow run to raise money for Japan Earthquake relief.\"Islay<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
